Morgon, Chateau De Bellevue ‘Les Charmes
The Château de Bellevue is a wonderful 19th century estate overlooking the village of Villié Morgon in the heart of the Beaujolais region. One of the famous “Frères Lumière”, inventors of the cinema, lived there.
The 20 acres of vines are located on the southern slopes in the prestigious “climats” of Morgon: “les Charmes” and “Le Clos”.
Small yields, a traditional burgundy-style vinification and aging in oak casks give a wonderful wine, soft and elegant with cherry aromas and silky tannins.
