The Regional Selections represent vineyard and varietal combinations which are recognised for excellence.
The motivation is quality, and the result is a range of wines which are hand-made from specific vineyards to bring you the best from each of the growing regions.
Shiraz is the jewel in Australia’s crown – widely and successfully planted in an array of regions, microclimates and soil types. Shiraz has proved itself an extremely versatile variety, producing full-bodied, ripe berry examples from the warm regions, and lean, spicy styles from the cooler areas.
Fruit for this wine was sourced from three vineyards across two premier sub-regions of the Barossa valley – Ebenezer and Stonewell. Made in our favourite style of classic Barossa Shiraz (power with elegance), this wine was cool fermented for eight days before being racked into older Frensh hogsheads for 10 months maturation.
