The Tuesday Club was formed by a small group of friends from the wine trade who decided that, no matter what, they would forgo all work commitments and get together every Tuesday to enjoy life. Their carpe diem attitude is reflected perfectly in this fresh Vinho Verde, packed with citrus notes of lemon-and grapefruit. So would you like to join the club? See you next Tuesday?
Winemaking:
30+ year old trellissed vines planted on granite and clay soils. Manual harvest and cluster selection prior to full destemming. Free run juice only which is then fermented in stainless steel at 12º-14º for a bright,fresh finish.
Tasting Note:
Light straw in colour the Tuesday Club is a crisp and zesty wine with some notes of mint and elderflower on the nose. A tart acidity followed by some zippy petillance makes this the perfect aperitif wine that goes equally well with an array of finger food, salad and seafood.
